Well I am glad that I am finally going to high school and also sad because it was fun. I am glad I am leaving because there will be more freedom and also you can get out of the school while lunch time and we don’t have to stay in the cafeteria and eat their but in high school you can go to the gym or go out of the school. That is why I am glad to get out of middle school life.  

in the original story of the book Tito(Jamal’s best friend) will escape to another place but in my new story it have a different ending which is that he is going to get caught and sentence for 2 year in juvenile jail. tito is sentence to jail because he killed some one with a gun to protect his friend Jamalby shooting at him.

 Today I chose a book called “the scorpions”. I chose the book because when I started to read the note on the back of the book it looked like it is an interesting book.  When I stared to read the book more it became interesting so I continued to read it.

There are many changes that happened from time to time. for example :- when i started to write on my Blog I was writing only small information but now I started to write and lot and expresses my feeling more. My favorite Blog for this year is “what is your new year resolution?”. It is my favorite Blog because sharing my New Year resolution was fun. I felt happier after I wrote my resolution. I think my writings have improved from time to time because I am experiencing more every time I write. I think I will need to work more on my writing by adding more details and more explanations.

In my opinion I think that using the Blogs in the class to write is a good way because anybody could see your writing and write comments about it so that you can improve your writings.

An Internal coflict is something that keeps you thinking about it inside your head but External conflict occurs when one faces someone else or some situation that is working against one’s own desires or goals. External confllict is different from internal becaause the external conflict makes you do something to improve the situation. There are many conflicts that Andy is having. For example:- When he was in his English class they started talking about Shakespeare he started to think about the accident he had last time and about how he LOST HIS FRIEND ROBERT WASHINGTON and he walk out of class and started walking on the hallway. Another example is that when he was dreaming about rob telling him to kill himself but it was just a bad dream.

Andy Jackson and three other friends had just won an important basketball game. They decided to get together and go celebrate their victory. They had started drinking, all except for B.J. who had never drunk in his life. They heard honking, but just laughed because of the alcohol. All of a sudden, a wall is in front of them and before they know it, they hit it. Three of the guys get out, but Robert Washington, Andy’s best friend and captain of the Hazlewood Basketball Team is pinned inside of the car. Two guys rush over to help Robert out, but as soon as they get on the hood, they are thrown off after a loud bang. The gas tank explodes with Robert pinned inside and he burns to death. I think that Andy won’t stop blaming himself.

This problem is going through all teenagers. Many teenagers are not getting enough sleep at night and they are dropping out school. Many teenagers are not attending in class because they will sleep in class and when the final exams come they don’t know anything.
So the sleep foundation team found out that if they move the bell time to 8:30 from 7:30 it would be better for student and they found out that the numbers out drop outs decreased and students started to attend well. The benefits of this change are:-

Students stopped dropping out.
Student started attending well.
Student stopped being late to class.

Well, my resolution is to:

• To listen better in the class like not talking while the teacher is talking.
•  To pay attention more when the teacher is teaching.
• Help a lot at home like washing the dishes
• Do home works on time and hand it in time be for deadline.
• To study more for test and quizzes.
• Do well on test.
• do more work out like 10 miles run or 15 miles joking
• Be pessimistic a little bit more because i sometimes be negative to people.
